UNDERSTAND THE SHIFT THAT’S HAPPENING IN YOU

We are in momentous times; things are shifting and changing around us in the world at a furious pace, and that's leaving many people disoriented and confused.

In the midst of it all there is a shift taking place in the church that is equally huge and momentous.

Many in the church are raising their voices, speaking out against injustice, and many other things. Many have been silent protestors for years, protesting a little here and there, but the current circumstances have changed that from quiet protesting to very loud vocal protesting. Yet at the same time there is a feeling that our voices aren't being heard and aren't being listened to.

It is good and right to stand up and be vocal about injustice of any sort, but simply being vocal about stuff is not God’s plan. His church was never created to be a church of protestors but to be a church full of reformers. In all that is currently happening God is shifting His church from being protestors to being reformers.

Sometimes God gives us a prophetic word directly from Himself and sometimes He uses a statement by others, or an action by another, to spark a revelation within us and activate our hearing. Recently the Lord used this statement from Dan McCollam to activate my hearing and to speak to me. "There’s a difference between a protestor and a reformer. The protestor stands outside the gate and yells about what’s wrong. The reformer sees a better future, gets into the system, and helps us move from what’s good to the better future!”

After I read this I heard the Lord say -

“In the middle of all that is happening I am instituting change; a shift is happening. My people are being shifted from protestors to reformers.

Many are disoriented and confused by all that is happening and the enemy is using the circumstances to try and cloud their understanding. In the midst of it all, I am wanting My children to turn to Me to receive guidance, direction, and strategy. I am wanting to give many of them new areas of focus and shifting many of them into new areas of service. This will require stepping up and stepping out. They will be required to not just stand on the sidelines and protest about the inequalities and injustices they see, but to get involved in reforming systems, bringing change, and creating places where people find hope, safety, and justice.

I am giving new sight, new vision, and I am causing them to see My plans for a better future. They will see My vision for society, for nations, cities, families, and individuals. They will see that My plans are to give a future full of hope – not empty promises of possibilities that may or may not happen. My promises are sure, they are ‘yes’ and ‘amen’. I am giving them the sure knowledge that I am at work and the devil is not strong enough to counteract My plans, My power, My love. That vision and knowledge will infuse them with faith and the strength to rise up, throw off their beliefs that society is condemned to continue to degrade into complete chaos, and to begin to work with Me, to see change come. I am raising up an army of reformers who see a better future and, as a result, will work to change society. I am raising up an army of hope-filled, faith-filled warriors that will delight to dance on injustice, squashing it underfoot, and with each step set people free.

If you’re feeling that confusion at the moment, if you’re not sure what’s happening, if you’re tired of raising your voice and it not being heard, then it’s you I’m talking to, you that I mean to use, you that I mean to change from protestor to reformer. Come to Me and get ready for change. Get ready for new hope, new vision, new assignments, new strength, and new provision. Get ready because you are about to find purpose like never before, you are about to find what you were created for – to be an agent of reconciliation and reformation.”
