THE TIME OF SIGNS

Sometimes for prophets the revelatory gifts are activated through certain things – something they see, read, a piece of music, a song, an object or something in nature. All these, and more, are ways the Lord can begin His process of communicating with us. This word was birthed from a statement I read. You can find more details at the bottom of this page about that process.

“Are you seeing this current situation as a ‘sign of the times’, looking at it through a negative perspective, seeing doom and gloom and the end of the world? I don’t want you to be ignorant of the enemy’s plans, but I also don’t want you to get fixated on them so that you see only them. Look again, shift your vision, tap into the highest use of the gift of discerning of spirits, the ability to see and understand what I’m doing, to see from My perspective, and therefore to be able to cooperate with Me in love, power and wisdom.

Instead of seeing this time, this situation, as a ‘sign of the times’ I want you to see it as ‘the time of signs’.

You might think that’s just a play on words, but the difference in shifting how you see this current situation – this time – will be huge for you and others.

I am the God of hope, the God of reconciliation, the God of salvation and the God of miracles. It’s a time for Hope to rise in you and through you. My desire and intent is that you and I move together out there in the world, working together to release hope, bring deliverance, healing, miracles, provision, restoring mental health, demolishing strongholds of fear and doubt in My character, My goodness.

It’s time to turn from seeing this as a ‘sign of the times’ to seeing it as ‘the time of signs’.

Let Me shift your vision, so you see differently. Let Me give you My perspective, My wisdom, My hope and My faith. I’m offering you a divine exchange. If you’ll surrender your current perspectives to Me and ask Me to replace them with the mind of Christ – with My wisdom, My knowledge and understanding – I will do so. Will you do that? Will you surrender your current perspective to Me and ask Me for an upgrade in perspective and thinking?

If you do, you’ll see differently, you’ll walk in the world differently, you’ll make this ‘the time of signs’ that I desire it to be. Instead of a time of diminishing hope, it will become a time of increasing hope and goodness being released that will shift the world for those you minister to.”

PRAYER POINTS

• As you pray, ask the Lord to show you personally whether you have been viewing this current situation only as a ‘sign of the times’, instead of seeking to find out what God wants to turn this time into. Where have you allowed a negative viewpoint to begin to take root within your heart and mind? Talk to Him about that, and as you do, surrender those views to Him and ask Him to reveal to you His perspective, wisdom, provision, and the gifts He has for you to make use of during this time.

• Ask for an increase in discernment and wisdom so that you can know the mind of Christ. His heart is for you to be able to discern His will, His plans, and know how to cooperate with Him in seeing those plans made manifest as reality in the world.

• Pray for the church. Many of God’s children are floundering, fearful, and not able to see clearly during this time. Pray for clarity of vision, and a fresh resurgence of hope for them.

• Pray that Eph 1:17-20 would be the church’s reality in this time, “that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in your knowledge of Him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know the hope of His calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints and the surpassing greatness of His power to us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of His mighty strength,…”

• Pray that this ‘time of signs’ would see God’s children believe, and step into the reality of, what Jesus spoke about in John 14:12-14. “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.”

For several months the Lord has been talking to me about believing afresh for signs and wonders to accompany the prophetic words I release and the teaching I do. Then I read a post by Bianca Alosi Serratore in which the Lord supplied the final piece in my processing and brought together all I’d been feeling and praying about over the past few months. The phrase “The time of signs” began to ring in my heart and I couldn’t shake it.
