THE BRIDE IN NEW ZEALAND – ONE BODY WORKING TOGETHER

This prophetic word was given at the NZ Council of Prophets gathering and Behold Conference in Christchurch, March 2025.

God's heart for New Zealand is for true unity between the Māori and European peoples. This unity must go beyond surface-level reconciliation and become a deep oneness in spirit, heart, and purpose. The Church must lead the way by tearing down fear of one another, embracing righteousness in both cultures, and demonstrating love that transcends historical divides. The foundation for this unity is within the nation. Start within Christ’ Body — when believers walk in Oneness, it releases an increase of God’s glory and transforms the nation from the heart.

To The Church in New Zealand, we must rediscover the power of standing together as One body. Jesus’ command to love God and love our neighbour must become a lived reality amongst us, breaking down walls of division and power struggles. A unified Body will overflow into society, bringing healing and restoration to all corridors of society. This oneness will also empower the Church to stand against false religions and spiritual strongholds that seek to undermine God's purposes for the nation.

Our maturity and Oneness comes from first, knowing and prioritising our spiritual identity.

The Orphan Spirit is the Enemy of Unity

The orphan spirit—rooted in rejection, insecurity, and independence—undermines unity in the Body of Christ. True unity is only possible when believers embrace their identity as sons and daughters of God.

The orphan hearted Bride unknowingly fuels competition, jealousy, power struggles and the desire for control. God desires to heal His people from spiritual orphanhood, replacing isolation and insecurity with a deep sense of love and belonging. There is an awakening coming—an awakening of spiritual identity, working as family, and love for one another. As believers embrace their Oneness in God’s family, the Church will step into a new level of strength and authority.

New Zealand's destiny is tied to its people standing together in spiritual alignment. This is not about personal preference or denominational or cultural identity, but about recognising God's call to take responsibility for the land - together.

A supernatural shift will occur, both spiritually and physically, as the Church moves and works together in unity for a higher purpose.

Apostles and Prophets, regardless of race – being the foundation that the Church is built on – you get to go first. God is reforming us to reform the Body into maturity and unity (Eph 2:20).

Unity only comes as a result of maturity. Maturity only comes when those equipping the saints are themselves able to reproduce mature Sons of the Kingdom, not spiritual orphans.

Apostles and Prophets, God is baptising you in the Spirit of Adoption in a fresh way. His love will heal your orphan ways and release a supernatural love for one another that fuels strategic forward movement as one Body.

God is calling you in this time to disciple a nation, together.

There is an urgent need for spiritual warfare over the nation. As apostles and prophets meet, pray and intercede, standing in your spiritual identity as Sons in the land, and as One Body in agreement, the enemy will be pushed back.

A spirit of conquest is attempting to gain influence in our nation. The demonic spirit of conquest is a counterfeit of the godly call to take possession of God’s promises and advancing God’s Kingdom with faith. This demonic influence seeks to dominate, control, and expand territory through oppression, pride, and violence (Rev 6:1-2; 1 Kings 21; Nah 3:1-4; Ex 1:8-14; Isa 14:12-14).

This battle cannot be fought in isolation – it requires the Body working as One, standing in their spiritual identity as Sons of the Kingdom of God. The enemy cannot prevail where there are mature Sons moving as One. Now is the time for New Zealand’s Church to reclaim lost ground, push back darkness, and step into the fullness of God’s victory.
