PROPHETIC WORD FOR 2021

This prophetic word was given at the NZ Council of Prophets meeting in Christchurch, February 2021.

We will see a resurgence of Spiritual Gifts manifesting in the The Church

1 Corinthians 12:7-11 “... through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues...”

We will see a resurgence of Spiritual Gifts manifesting in the The Church. The Holy Spirit is reigniting a hunger for the working of spiritual gifts and we will see an increase of the ministry of Jesus through His people. The Lord is saying, “Equip the saints for the work of the ministry.”

We will no longer just point the way to Jesus, like John the Baptist did, but The Church is stepping into Her role as ambassadors for Christ (1 Cor 5:20) and will demonstrate the power of the Kingdom of God like that of Jesus. God is emphasising the importance of the moving of the Spirit to bring freedom and restoration of body, soul and spirit. The Church is stepping into a greater level of her Isaiah 61 call, bringing freedom and liberty through the working of miracles, healing and deliverance.

Barrenness is broken, fruitfulness is here

Isaiah 54

I heard the Lord say, “Sing out oh barren woman, stretch out your heart to believe again. I have heard the cry of your heart because of your barrenness and I am here to break the drought. I am coming to My Bride to raise her from the rubble of barrenness and anoint her to shine like the noon day sun and reflect My Glory on earth. Do not stay in disappointment and hopelessness, stretch forth your heart to Me and you will find My power and grace that is sufficient for you. These things have been like the dust that settles upon bringing dullness to where it rests. Open your heart to Me again for I am breathing fresh life into your lungs bringing renewed strength. Those buds of fruit on your vine that have been closed tight for too long, I am calling them to open up and blossom. The fire of My Spirit is moving to burn away the constraints that have held you, burn away the dullness of heart and the spirit of slumber. I declare, you are faithful and fruitful. I declare the drought is broken and the rains have come bringing new life.”

The tares and the wheat are growing together

Matthew 13:24-29

Do not be surprised when you see evil rise at the same time as the Kingdom of God increases. The tares and the wheat are growing together in this era and the great divide is beginning to show up between what is good and what is evil. The divide between righteousness and unrighteousness will serve a purpose, as people will be forced to choose their path. People will sense the conviction of the Holy Spirit and they will either run to God or flee. The tares that are growing will not be our concern (vs30), only be true to pursue Jesus and promote His Kingdom.

I am reminded of Carol Arnott’s encounter in a dream in 2015. Carol dreamt that she was at an event when the Glory of God rolled bringing the fear of the Lord; people were so afraid that they either ran to the altar to repent or ran out the door. There is coming an increase of the Glory of God where the fear of the Lord will burn so strong that people will not be able to be in it without being open to repent. God is looking for a Bride who can stand in this coming Glory and minister to the harvest as they run to God in repentance. Church it is time to open your heart and allow the transforming love of God to heal us so we are be ready to stand and minister when the increase of the Glory happens.

The fire of awakening is moving through New Zealand

Ephesians 5:14 “Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”

I heard the Lord say, “Awake, sleeper, And arise from the dead.”

The Spirit of God is calling out to the Church to wake up from her slumbering and rise to her purpose in this hour, to be a light in the darkness.

The disciples that talked with Jesus after His resurrection said, “Were not our hearts burning within us” (Luke 24:32.) In His resurrected presence their hearts started burning, their dullness was being transformed by His presence so they could see the Truth of who He was!

This is what is being released upon the church right now – the fire of awakening. The church is being woken to burn with fresh passion and zeal for Jesus and the Kingdom of God. The Church in New Zealand is awaking from her sleepy state and emerging in a brighter form shining in the light of God. Arise and Shine for your light has come, New Zealand, and all the earth looks upon you at this time. Your freedom is a blessing from heaven.

The Church outside the church

The Spirit of God is breathing upon the embers within the hearts of the Church that is outside of organised church. A fresh fire of awakening is beginning to burn. He is calling those that have been hurt within church to step back into The Light and be seen.

Pioneers will run in 21

I believe there is fresh grace being released in our nation to pioneer this year and beyond. We will see new Kingdom initiatives appear that will forge new paths for the church to walk in to bring Kingdom advancement. New Zealand has been spared long periods of lockdown for a reason. We are to make the most of our freedom and Run in 21 with the new ideas of God.

As old wine skins and old ways drop away, Kingdom pioneers who have seen the master blueprint will break new ground with God’s strategies. These spiritual pioneers are receiving a fresh anointing as a ‘push’ to move and create the new wine skins for the era ahead. We will see a flurry of new ministries and new ideas come forth that will feel like a fresh river of the Holy Spirit upon The Church.
