PROPHETIC WORDS

NOON TIME HOUR

by Arna-Lise Harris

April 2020

I was getting ready to go to bed, and the light in our bedroom cast the shadow of a spider on the wall.

The shadow of the spider looked big, aggressive and angry, it was scary and intimidating. However, when I looked at the actual spider, it was a tiny, baby daddy-long-legs. It stood out to me how vastly different the shadow looked, compared to the tiny creature. It was a matter of perspective – which was I focusing on?

The following day it remained in my mind, and so I went over to the web to have a closer look. Sitting on the web was not only a tiny spider, but also one of those fairy seed pod things that float in the air. The kind that have been delighting children since the beginning of time.

I felt God begin to speak to me about the current situation with Covid-19 rampaging the earth.

I felt Him saying...

"I am not a God who casts a shifting shadow. My perspective has been and always remains the same."

James 1.17 tells us ‘whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.’

A large shadow has been cast over the earth. Many people have focused on the shadow, and it has caused great fear, intimidation, anxiety and panic.

The enemy would have you focus on fear, feel intimidated, anxious and panic about this season and about the things to come. He would have you fear for the future.

Darkness causes shadows to appear much larger than the object really is. But God says "I am shifting your perspective so you can see with eyes of truth. I am bigger than the circumstances. I am bigger than the storm. I am bigger than the shadow appears.

During this time, ask Me to open your eyes to see the circumstances differently. Ask Me to show you what I am doing!

Be childlike in your faith. My children will take delight in the season and find joys, gifts and rewards in the centre of it all."

In the middle of the day, around noon, the sun is high and the shadows are the smallest. The shadow remains, but the perspective is different. The brightness of the sun far outweighs any fear, intimidation and anxiety a shadow could bring.

And I felt God say..

"This is a noon time hour for My church.”

The Bible also speaks of this –

May those who love you rise like the sun in all its power. Judges 5.31

The righteous will shine like the sun in their Father’s Kingdom. Matthew 13.43

“It is time for My people to arise, seek me, and begin to declare who I am over the circumstances. While many cower in their homes afraid, My church will rise up in my light, in hope, in courage. They will rise up in love and see many hearts turn toward me.

Declare who I am to sickness. Declare who I am to the economic situations you find yourselves and others in. Declare who I am to fear, anxiety, depression and panic. I AM Lord over all."

Your life will be brighter than the noonday. Even darkness will be as bright as morning. Having hope will give you courage. You will be protected and will rest in safety. You will lie down unafraid, and many will look to you for help. Job 11:17-19 NLT

Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon. The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring. Some of you will rebuild the deserted ruins of your cities. Then you will be known as a rebuilder of walls and a restorer of homes. Isaiah 58:10-12 NLT

"In this season I will cause you to shine bright in the world around you. Care for each other. Meet the needs of others within the church and within the community. Have hope, rest in my peace and lie down unafraid. I am your keeper. I will cause you to continue to grow, have water, be restored and be strong."

However there is more. He is causing us to show the world how to rebuild during and beyond this season.

"My people will be those who demonstrate the rebuilding of families, of businesses, of the economy, of society. Ask Me now for the strategies and structures and the blueprints of heaven, to know how to rebuild. Get to work in this season implementing My strategies."

"What the enemy has meant for harm, I have purposed to do good in the earth as I deploy my people, and heavens armies and resources to cause great light to shine upon my church."

For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.

For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!

So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. 2 Corinthians 4:6, 17-18 NLT

"There are present trials, but I am far greater than the trials. Take comfort that I see you and that I am close. Take comfort that I am giving you strength and joy.

I am causing a great shift upon the earth. Keep your eyes fixed on what I am doing in this season and I will cause My light to shine upon you and you to bring love, hope, life and strength to many others."
