KAIROS – THE APPOINTED TIME

This prophetic word was delivered by Colleen Wewege at the 2022 New Zealand Council of Prophets gathering held in Christchurch on the 24th February.

There have been multiple prophetic words over the church in this season about the fact that God is maturing His bride in this time. It’s a time for the church to be equipped, empowered and strengthened and made ready. It’s a time for a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit and for miracles to break out. It’s a time for the prodigals to return and for a harvest of souls. It’s time for the church to understand, and know how to receive, spiritual intelligence and heavenly wisdom.

It is a time of recalibrating, a time of restoring and a time of reformation as God makes His bride beautiful.

AND we have been positioned for such a time as this! This is God’s set up time! We are divinely set up for such a time as this.

Know your mandate

Mandate is a word the enemy is using to create confusion, anxiety, division and disruption in New Zealand. The church needs to know God’s mandate. We need to know our individual mandates, our church mandates, our cities mandate and our Kingdom mandate. We need to be as serious with our Kingdom mandates as the world is with its mandates. When we get intentional with our Godly mandates, what the enemy plans for evil, God will turn around for His good.

We‘ve been created to be able to understand and discern these times; discernment is key in this season.

Refocus

It’ s time for the church to repent – to turn away from the distractions of the world, get our eyes off ourselves, and turn them back on to Jesus. It’s time to re-focus. Our eyes need to be locked on Jesus. We cannot get distracted by the things of this earth. “The time has come,” he said. Focus, for “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!” Mark 1:15

Keep your eyes on Jesus – abide in Him –  never lose your sight of Him and what He is doing. Don’t give attention to what the enemy is doing. “Let us lay aside every weight and sin which clings’ and ‘look to Jesus the founder and perfecter of our faith." Heb 12

Ask what is He doing and how can I partner with Him in that? Ask what is God releasing? We’re in a war and it’s critical to give our attention to Him and ask how we can partner with what He is releasing and doing.

God is weaving His story through the nations as we say YES to a partnering with Him in that weaving.

We are in a war

We need to be aware that we’re in a war and that the enemy has a mandate, but we were made for war!  We need to give attention to the Kingdom and not the enemy. We must not become distracted by the demonic agenda, the specific assignment that is trying to prevent momentum and interrupt the work of the Holy Spirit, which brings overwhelming doubt and confusion, tiring opposition and spiritual harassment. It is trying to choke the voice of those carrying Life and Hope. Although it’s hard to focus, focus is critical.

Distractions drain us of our strength and confidence and cause confusion. Fear, anxiety and discouragement are a sign of submitting to an inferior spirit, which deadens our discernment. Prov 14:7 reminds us “not to submit to an inferior spirit!  leave the presence of a fool, for there you do not meet words of knowledge.’”

Create, dream, innovate and build!

I believe there's a fresh wind on creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship now.

We have been made to dream. When we stop dreaming we degenerate. God wants us to dream and birth things in this season – things we have been pregnant with for a long time. God is the creator! The enemy’s only strength is to steal, and replicate, so don’t give what he is stealing any attention. Give attention to what God is doing, what God is creating, what God is birthing, what God is concerned about.

God has given us a divine purpose and call, and I believe the great restlessness and shifts that we are seeing are partly because the "same old" won't work for where we must go, for what we have been wired and created to do, and for how His Kingdom is advancing.

Arrows of deliverance

I had a vision of multiple arrows been aimed at targets. These targets were enemy territory and the arrows were the church (individuals) being used as arrows of deliverance as they picked up their respective mandates.

Multiple arrows were being handpicked by Papa God, lifted out of His quiver and then thrown forward by Him and carried by the power of the Spirit. Each arrow had a specific mandate, and each arrow reached its target and each arrow pierced the darkness. This was a different type of warfare. This was a different type of deliverance.  God was using His church as arrows of deliverance, but this was about destiny!  

God was saying, “Don’t be concerned that you’ll miss, as you are equipped and ready.  It is time and you will hit the bullseye! You will take out the enemy every time you hit the bullseye, because you are resting in the Spirit and the wind of My Spirit is accelerating you and guiding you to take out the enemy.” I actually saw angels bring the targets into range each time the ‘church’ spoke destiny over individuals’ lives, each time the sons and daughters of God stepped into their destiny, each time the church understood its purpose and call.

It’s about destiny – destiny as the body steps into its mandate, destiny as individuals step into their mandates, and destiny as people discover their purpose. We, the church, need to speak destiny over the lives of individuals, churches, and cities.

We will bind the strongman as we speak destiny. We have been trained and equipped as arrows of deliverance.

I see these arrows representing our various mandates. Some of these mandates will last for an hour, a day, a week, the year, a span of years. We need to be intentional about our mandates .

It’s time for authentic real stripped back WORSHIP

God is raising up a “Jacob generation of worshippers whose desire is to seek his face.” Psa 24. We need to look at His face and not lose focus.

Worship is where we place our stake in the ground in 2022!

It starts when you “seek first the Kingdom of God with all your heart (Mat 6:33). Worship is where you will legally hold your ground, and it will be the place where your blessings will flow from. Worship is where you will give birth. Worship is where you will see healing and miracles.

The Lord says, “Worship ME”.

I sense a warning that we need to be cautious and aware that the enemy is masquerading as an angel of light. Some are being enticed and are even celebrating what looks good on the surface, but the enemy is a deceiver and is trying to deceive the bride by getting attention focused on His works.

I sense that it is time for the church to stand up and BECOME! We should not be caught unaware. It is time to stand up in the power of His Spirit and sing out, speak out, declare loudly what has been incubating in us. It’s time to repent of being an audience of spectators and rise up into our destiny. Our children’s children will receive supernatural impartation and protection as we do this.

What time is it? It is our kairos time

We’re invited into this kairos moment, this appointed time in the purposes of God.

We need to believe and behave like we’re in a divine moment.

We need to be on the lookout for the acceleration that is coming.

We need to be ready for unusual occurrences and supernatural interventions.

“At last the fulfilment of the age has come! It is time for God’s kingdom to be experienced in its fullness! Turn your lives back to God and put your trust in the hope-filled gospel!” Mark 1:15 TPT

PRAYER POINTS

Prayer is not just us coming to God with a list of requests. As part of our relationship with Him, it is us having a conversation with the Lord, which involves talking and listening on both sides. The following prayer points are some things you can talk to Him about in regards to this prophetic word.

• Pray for the bride of Christ to mature in this season – for the body to grow up into maturity and to be strengthened and made beautiful.

• Pray that God’s people will remain focused on Jesus and His Kingdom, and not become distracted by the enemy’s agenda.

• Pray that the church would repent and set its eyes on Jesus and put its trust in the hope of Jesus.

• Pray that creativity, and innovations, and the ability to build in this season will be accessed. Thank God that He is reforming, rebuilding, and re-tooling us.

• Pray that God would give us His wisdom and His insight to be used as arrows of deliverance and the voice of destiny.

• Pray that we would worship Him and seek His face.
