CARRY THE WEIGHT OF HIS PRESENCE

Josh 3:17 “Meanwhile, the Priests who were carrying the Ark of the Lord’s Covenant stood on dry ground in the middle of the riverbed as the people passed by. They waited there until the whole Nation of Israel had crossed the Jordan on dry ground.”

God has, and is, calling a company of people who can CARRY THE WEIGHT OF HIS PRESENCE. They will be people whom they themselves have been forged in the fires of affliction and adversity because God has called them for the LONG HAUL. They have been CALLED and ANOINTED to HOLD GROUND, to HOLD PLACES, to HOLD BUSINESSES, to HOLD FAMILIES, to HOLD INDIVIDUALS until each has crossed over before them from this place to that – from where they are now, to where God wants them to be, and to become WHO He wants them to be!

Some of these ones ‘carrying the weight of His Presence’ will be known to each other, but there are some who are part of this company who are hidden – who are isolated because of circumstances or location – but GOD knows each one, and His eye is on each one, and they are part of this larger company who have been CALLED and EMPOWERED to  ‘stand in the dry places’ until . . .eventually . . .this WHOLE NATION has passed over before them.

Each has been POSITIONED in the place of God’s choosing. This positioning is important because God has strategy in it – strategy because you’re the right person for that place and that people, and because God has given you an anointing to HOLD His Presence in that place. . . until they have ALL ‘passed over before you’.

Some of you are called to ‘carry the weight of His Presence’ for a business, some are called to ‘carry the weight of His Presence’ for an area, for a people group, for a family, for an individual, for places of government, but TOGETHER you have been called !!!!  and TOGETHER you are ‘standing on dry ground’. Some of you are in seemingly very dry places, but He has you standing in those places until the underground springs are released and until the rivers begin to flow!!!

It’s a LONG-TERM calling . . “see how the farmer WAITS for the land to yield its valuable crop, PATIENTLY  waiting for the autumn and spring rains” – James 5:7.

And the thing I heard at the end of all this was a SONG BEING SUNG in the hearts of these ones – in the midst of their waiting, in the midst of their interceding, in the midst of their creative ideas and acts of faith to see THEIR part of this nation cross over before them – they were SINGING THE SONG OF MOSES . . .it was a refrain that was entwined through the days of their journey.

“Great and marvellous are your works, O Lord God Almighty
Just and true are your ways, O King of the Nations.
Who will not fear you, Lord, and glorify your name?
For you alone are holy.
for your righteous deeds have been revealed.”  Rev 15:3-5.
