AWAKEN THE DAWN OF A NEW DAY

Greta was unable to physically attend the NZ Council of Prophets meeting in February 2022 so she Zoom linked in on the day. The following is a transcript of that Zoom call.
Although the uncertainty continues in the world in 2022, I have a strong sense of anticipation in my spirit about what God is going to do.
One of the things I feel the Lord’s saying for 2022 is this: awaken the dawn of a new day.
A theme threaded throughout this word is JOY. We belong to the Kingdom of God. One of its characteristics is joy in the Holy Spirit, regardless of the state of the world. The Lord is going to restore the joy of salvation to many. As we make the choice to rejoice in spite of circumstances, God will fill us with his joy. (Philippians 4:4)
In the days ahead, God will manifest Himself as the God of light, among other things.
Light brings life. When God’s light shines in our heart, we receive true life. In John 10:10, which the Holy Spirit has underlined numerous times this past year, Jesus said, “I have come that you may have life in all its fullness.” In the past couple of years the devil has tried to steal, kill and destroy with intensified effort. However, Father’s intention is that what His people have lost, they will recover all. What’s been damaged, He will restore all. What’s died, like hopes and dreams, will be resurrected. Declare life over the affected areas of your life.
The God of light
The number 22 symbolises light. I feel in 2022 and beyond there will be increasing revelation of light. These verses are relevant for our present times…
Long ago Isaiah prophesied: “…on those living in the land of darkness a light has dawned.” (Isaiah 9:2)
Just before Jesus’ birth, Zachariah prophesied: “Because of God’s tender mercy, the morning light from heaven is about to break upon us, to give light to those who sit in darkness…” (Luke 1:78)
As he held baby Jesus, Simeon prophesied: “Sovereign Lord,…..I have seen your salvation, which you have prepared for all people. He is a light to reveal God to the nations.” (Luke 2:29-32) The revelation of light is for the salvation of the nations!
Jesus is the Light of the world, and God wants the world to know! So He’s saying to us, His Church, “Awaken the dawn of a new day!”
The Lord has given us powerful keys to do this.
Worship.
The Holy Spirit has strongly highlighted these extracts from the Psalms:
Psalm 100 has come to me many times: Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him, singing with joy.
Here’s why- …those who know the joyful sound, the call to worship,… walk in the light of God’s presence.. (Psalm 89:15)
Psalm 108:1,2 I will sing and make music with all my soul… I will awaken the dawn.
My worship awakens the dawn. That is the power of worship!
The Word of God.
Psalm 19 says that God’s Word revives my soul. In other words, it awakens my soul, it makes me fully alive. It brings joy to the heart and light to the eyes, ie it gives revelation.
I pray your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given you. (Ephesians 1:18) Light brings hope! We are carriers hope.
The Lord is calling his people to action:
Arise, shine! for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.
We are carriers of the light. We are carriers of the dawn. Herald the dawn of a new day to those in the darkness of fear and hopelessness. Share the Good News!
Awaken the dawn of a new day for the world. Pray! It’s a most potent key.
God intends a great awakening in the nations!
He sends visions and dreams to encourage us to keep praying. In a profound dream in September 2021, I again saw revival being birthed by the Church in prayer. The specific details included the number 2. For over a year I have repeatedly encountered multiples of 2, and each has prophetic significance. Among other things in this dream, I sensed the Lord say that there will be the dawn of a new day for sleeping Christians who will wake up.There will be the dawn of a brand new day for unprecedented multitudes who will be born again.
Keep praying that in His great mercy and might, God will pour out His Spirit on all people across the world. Pray that the morning light is about to break upon us with a fresh visitation of Jesus in New Zealand.
Although it looks dark out there, there is hope on the horizon. You and I are a carrier of God’s mercy might and light. He’s calling us to awaken the dawn of a new day.
PRAYER POINTS
Prayer is not just us coming to God with a list of requests. As part of our relationship with Him, it is us having a conversation with the Lord, which involves talking and listening on both sides. The following prayer points are some things you can talk to Him about in regards to this prophetic word.
Pray: “Use me, Lord, to awaken the dawn of a new day.”
Ask the Lord to impart a joyful love for worship and a fire of fervent prayer to us, His people.
Pray for awakening in New Zealand.
Pray that God will pour out His Spirit on all people across the nations for an unprecedented harvest of salvation.
