ARE YOU CALLED NOW TO REBUILD, OR TO PIONEER?

This is the second of several words Lynley presented at the NZ Council of Prophets gathering held in Christchurch on the 24th February.

There are two main areas the Spirit of God is working in this time. He is mantling some to be Rebuilders and some to be Pioneers, and we will see both emerge with strength this year. 

1. God is calling some people to rebuild the gates of the church.

We must recognize where the enemy has breached the gates of our nation, our ministries, the gates of The Church, and the gates of our lives. 

Isa 58:12 “Some of you will rebuild the deserted ruins of your cities. Then you will be known as a rebuilder of walls and a restorer of homes.”

The Spirit of the Lord is saying, “I am imparting to My Church the strategies to rebuild on the rock of Christ, repair what was breached, regain what was lost, and renovate what needed change.” 

But first comes the repairing of the gates of our own hearts. 

It is time to examine the state of our hearts and allow healing to come where there has been a breach and a wounding. Take notice where the boundaries of our own faith have been assaulted and worn down through this season of war. 

Jesus is inviting us into a time of transformation unto restoration.  

Are you being called to be one who Rebuilds the gates of the Church – rebuilding back into the Church the importance of the gospel of the Kingdom, of prayer, of intimacy with God, being a follower of Jesus, and being a fisher of men?

2. Secondly, God is mantling the Pioneers with strategic vision to birth new initiatives for this era and a fiery passion to innovate.

This pioneering spirit will rise in people so strongly that they will boldly forge new paths and new ways for the Body of Christ to prepare for the time of Harvest.

These ones are called to move on ahead of the camp and seek out new land to possess. Within this strategic season of pioneering they will leave behind what was, and forge a new way into the future. We will see a flourishing of new initiatives in the Church, but also in the technological sector, the human resources sector. New mission organisations that are established by believers will emerge that partner with Government to support 1st and 2nd world nations. In New Zealand we will see believers forging new ways to heal our people from the strongholds of violence and domestic issues.

I want to sound a warning about this. 

We need to watch out for misunderstanding between these two mantles of the rebuilders and pioneers. We must understand and appreciate one another and honour the different Kingdom assignments we have, recognising that not all will be running the same race, as we are to make room for one another and not partner with pride that we are doing it right and others are not. God is calling His Church to walk in unity and appreciation of how He is moving through those around us.  

PRAYER POINTS

Prayer is not just us coming to God with a list of requests. As part of our relationship with Him, it is us having a conversation with the Lord, which involves talking and listening on both sides. The following prayer points are some things you can talk to Him about in regards to this prophetic word.

• Seek God to know what you are called and anointed to do – to rebuild or pioneer new?

• Pray for the rebuilders to have a fresh zeal for The Church, a fresh love for His people.

• Pray for heavenly strategies to be released upon leaders so they can build what God is building.

• Pray for courage for the pioneers, that they would heed the call to break new ground for the Kingdom of God.
