PROPHETIC WORDS

A NEW SOUND

For some months now I have had a deep sense of Holy Spirit speaking to me regarding a changing ‘sound’ and a new ‘Trumpet’ sounding over the body of Christ.  As we approached the end of July I felt stirred to collate these thoughts and share them with the broader Body of Christ.

Over the decades there have been corporate sounds which have carried the Body of Christ into experiences that the Father set in motion.  In the natural we have seen the likes of Hillsong, Hillsong United, Jesus Cutlure, Kim walker and many others release a unique sound which has served the church and bought them into places of deeper encounter and connection.  In the Spirit these things have ushered in a release of love, encounter, compassion, and personal experience of Jesus for those within the church.

I believe that the Father is now calling the church to pay attention, to listen, for He is about to release a new sound!

This sound will first be heard in the Spirit by those willing to sit, discern, and catch hold of His heart in the secret place.  This is already occurring in places but Father’s heart is that this would be known widely within the body, and not just by specific individuals.

In the secret place there will be a knowing that something has changed, something new is being released, and a great anticipation will come to those who sit with Papa and catch His heart in this season.

As this is discovered in the secret place we are going to hear a new sound wave in the physical.  I believe we are going to see a new/different sound come to the horizon.  In the same way that Hillsong, Jesus Culture, Kim walker etc have led generations into something new, be prepared for a new sound to emerge around the globe!

As this new sound emerges in the natural those who have dwelt in the secret place will witness deep in their spirits and know that a new trumpet call has been released!

Be aware, however, that this sound is not like those we have known.  I believe the Father is saying that this sound is going to restore a deep fire within His house.  This fire will cause internal / external comparison of churches to be burnt away, and a release of deep compassion and conviction for His children to know that He does not see ‘us’ and ‘them’ (Christians aand unsaved).  His Heart is simply towards all people with a deep desire to love them and for all to know His love. 

In this season we have the opportunity to embrace His heart for ‘All people’ and to see a sound erupt around us that will cause a falling of the walls between society and what we have called the church.  A compassion and love will flow from the lovers of Jesus and will be welcomed by an increasing number of people who are yet to experience His love.  The divide of ‘society’ and ‘church’ will fall in this time as the church repositions itself to be fountains within the community. Fountains will be felt outside of our buildings as individuals carry rivers of living water into the spaces that they influence and where they have relationship.

In the secret the anticipation will grow and a knowing that this sound is not for the ‘church’. This sound is for the world!  This will bring restoration of His heart to those who are intimate with Him, but will also draw all men to Himself in a way that the Body of Christ has not seen in recent years.  This Sound is a call to intimacy for ‘All People’.  A sound which will see a significant change to the Body of Christ.  A sound that will bring refreshing and realigning.  A sound which will draw all men to Himself.

My prayer is that we be willing to sit in the secret place as 2 Chronicles 7.14 , that we would dwell and catch what is being released from His heart for this season ahead.  That we would be those who recognise the sound that is coming in this time, as it’s being played in the room of intimacy prior to being made public.  May we recognise and embrace it as it is released in the natural, and position ourselves to create a platform for the many who will start their pursuit of His love.
