PROPHETIC WORDS
A DELUGE FROM THE HEAVENS
by Jeana Jurisich
This prophetic word was given at the NZ Council of Prophets gathering in Christchurch, March 2023.
“Titiro ka kite mai Aotearoa” (Look and see Aotearoa )
Ihaia 59:19 (Māori Indigenous text)
Ka mai te hoariri ano he wai puka engari ka whakaria e Te Atua he kupu kia i
Isaiah 59:19 (English translation)
“When the enemy shall come against you like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.’
I saw and heard the sound of fresh sparkling rain, at first a gentle tapping, then a torrent of merciless deluge. The rainfall was unrelenting, bringing a tinge of fear into the lives and homes of this nation – Aotearoa, the “Land of the Long White Cloud.“
I heard thunderous sounds strike the hearts of many; some were watching, some had no anchor or sanctuary. By now trickles formed puddles, and waterfalls altered banks where no course or path is. I saw confronting images of change, deeply carved crevices, transforming lives forever. I heard a Voice, louder than the noisy rain falling, say, “Here is the heralding of the harvest, Church.”
“E tu Aotearoa. E tu nei. Waiata Ana ki Te Atua.” (“Stand up, Aotearoa. Stand and worship Heavenly Father”).
The birds of the air, the cattle of a thousand hills, the sheep we are proudly compared to – they hear the sound, the sound of the harvest, the sound of revival. There can be nowhere for anyone to flee in times of great treachery, except on their bended knee, where faith and hope arises, only in the presence of Heavenly Father. This is the key.
Nahum 1:3,7 (Māori Indigenous text)
Kei te Ariki tona rahi I Toto I te tukauati me te tupuhi a he ia I te ra a te Ariki ur ote he. He Pai kaha ia Ihowa I te ra o te he. E mohio Ana ia ki te huinga ia w whakawhirinaki Ana ki a Ia.
Nahum 1:3,7 (English Translation)
“The Lord has His Way in the whirlwind and the storm. The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, and He knows them that put their trust in Him.”
When the enemy’s darkness touches our sanctuary and our very soul, look up, arise, and raise high the Standard of Praise and of Song, just like Paul and Silas did.
I see an ornately fully woven korowai (a traditional cloak), drape Aotearoa from the Cape to the Bluff, made from the feathers of every angelic bird. Laying silent, just waiting for the Sound of the Anointed rainfall.
Heavenly Father yearns for the Songs of Praise to break out – the Songs of the desolate, of the broken-hearted, of the unsaved, of the hurt, of the imprisoned, of the lost, the prodigals, and the Church. Stand up and worship Heavenly Father every day we breathe.
I see and I hear the Anointing on the Worship, stronger and louder than ever before. Hold high the Standard of the Lord, the Standard of triumph to break off every ungodly chain the enemy has falsely bound this Nation, the peoples of Aotearoa and other nations, with.
Revival burst forth and quench the dry, weary land and the thirsty people.
“E tu Aotearoa. E tu nei Waiata ana Ki te Atua “ (“Stand up Aotearoa. Stand and Worship Heavenly Father.”)
I see every restriction, every barrier, every ungodly stronghold, every falsehood, every false identity, broken off those who He called, the faithful, the believers, the obedient, the meek.
I see and declare Heaven’s floodgates opening wide and saturating every living thing with a deluge of fresh Anointing from the Heavenlies over Aotearoa, and other nations who truly hunger and thirst for Righteousness.
