REVIVAL IS COMING TO A UNITED KINGDOM

This is the first of several words Lynley presented at the NZ Council of Prophets gathering held in Christchurch on the 24th February.

The refiner’s fire working in us!

In a dream I was standing before a well-known prophet in the UK. I prophesy, “Revival is coming to the United Kingdom. You are prepared and ready to receive the move of God.”

(Note: when a prophet dreams that they are prophesying to a prophet, it means this dream addresses something that is happening globally.)

There are two things that are important about this dream. 

Firstly, I believe the United Kingdom is ready and prepared for a move of God. 

Secondly, it is a play on words that holds a message for all of us. Revival is coming to a kingdom that is united. Revival and blessing, an outpouring manifestation of the Kingdom of God, comes when a kingdom is united. 

God is calling His people to align with the Kingdom of God and its culture of honour, unity and love, for we are in a time of preparation to steward the move of God that is coming.

A kingdom that is divided will not stand against adversity and that's what we are seeing in this nation. Where there is infighting, rebellion, and division we are seeing relationships and organisations die. When The Church aligns with the culture of God's Kingdom that is unshakable, we will withstand anything that comes against us. Regardless of what's happening in the natural around us, we belong in a different place and have access to grace which sustains us.

In the last couple of years the Church has wrestled not only through this pandemic, but also with a demonic assignment of division and of destruction. One of the consequences of this is, we are in a war against unity and love.

The Church in New Zealand, you are called to stand with one another and walk in the opposite spirit of what is coming against us as a nation. You will see the enemy fail as you choose to honour, not criticise; love, not hate. 

We are in the refiner’s fire, and when the refiner’s fire comes, we can't ignore it. We have to turn to face the season and embrace it, and allow the fire to do its work of cleansing and maturing. The refiner’s fire is burning the impurities out of our hearts. 

Where are we caught in this division, hate, criticism and judgement? Where have we agreed with, and partnered with, the spirit of destruction and of division? 

Why has the Lord got us in this fire? Because He wants a pure Bride, that is ready to steward the greatest move of His Spirit. 

Even though opposition is raging about her, the Bride is maturing and the Kingdom of God is advancing. God's people will emerge refined as gold with a greater capacity to love, honour and unite together in Kingdom advancement.

As with a jigsaw puzzle, each of the jigsaw pieces represent individuals with their own unique shape, yet they fit together to make a picture. We are now emerging, having learnt new ways to fit together and still hold our own identity. We have matured in our honour and love. We have withstood the refiner’s fire and are coming out of the wilderness, shining as gold.

PRAYER POINTS

Prayer is not just us coming to God with a list of requests. As part of our relationship with Him, it is us having a conversation with the Lord, which involves talking and listening on both sides. The following prayer points are some things you can talk to Him about in regards to this prophetic word.

• Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal where you personally have partnered with division, judgment and criticism, so you can process this and receive His forgiveness and healing.

• Pray for the Lord to move upon us, and New Zealand, in a fresh way – “Lord let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in my life, the city and the nation.”

• Pray for hearts that have been bruised and wounded to be restored, and relationships healed and reunited.

• Pray for a fresh zeal to come upon The Church, Church leaders and congregations. That we would run the race set before us alongside our brothers and sisters, giving honour, respect and love to one another.
