PROPHETIC WORDS

GOD IS BREAKING MOULDS

by Jill Smith

February 2021

God chooses the least and the unlikely in order to display His glory and work out His plans on earth. Not through any merit or strength of her own, God has chosen New Zealand to be a light, a beacon of hope, and an example to the nations of the world. Even through flawed earthly governments God speaks and acts to serve His purpose. Leaders come and go but it is God’s purpose that prevails in the end. The favour of heaven is on Aotearoa in this season to position her in a new light and give her a voice of influence among the nations. He is unlocking discoveries of natural resources as well as new ideas and genius solutions that are not only to bless and prosper New Zealand, but also to bless and serve others. Aotearoa has become a desirable destination, a city of refuge, and God is calling her sons and daughters home, bringing skills, experience, wealth and expertise gathered from the nations. Although there are many problems, deep divides, and inequities amongst us, God is investing in Aotearoa so that in future years she will bless and resource many others. Esthers and Daniels are even now working redemptively in their God-appointed spaces. There is much work to be done, there are wounds to be healed, wrongs to be set right, and challenges to overcome, yet God chooses the weak and foolish things of the earth to confound the wise. There is a warning here as well, not to take His goodness and our good fortune for granted, but to be grateful and steward it well. God Himself is defending our borders, He is fighting our battles, not because we deserve it, but because He has set His love upon us. Reaping and sowing always happens inescapably and yet mercy intercepts the inevitable and triumphs over judgment, and that was, and is, and always will be, God’s final judgment through Jesus.

 Church

God is breaking moulds like a hammer breaking a rock in pieces. He is liberating the church from mental, emotional, religious and cultural moulds that have contained and controlled individuals, groups, movements, and denominations, to release us into more of the fulness of the new creation life available in Jesus. God deals with His children with a tender touch, with deep love and compassion, yet He rises up to decisively deal with their oppressors. His word comes like fire and like a hammer against the demonic lies and powers behind strongholds that keep people captive. He has heard the cries of the prisoners and is intervening to break open prisons like a sledge-hammer smashes rocks. “Is not my word like fire,” declares the Lord, “and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?” (Jer 23:2). Prophets need to play their part in releasing and activating God’s powerful, mould breaking, liberating word.

God is breaking the mould for (and through) prophets, prophetic ministry and expression.

Authentic prophets need to turn up to partner with heaven in this day of breaking, shaking, deliverance, departure and radical change. God is calling those who have been hidden, in preparation, even in depression and discouragement, to come and stand in His presence, to hear and declare His word over towns, cities, regions and nations as He leads. Companies of prophets, led by the Spirit, must come together now to hear and release the timely word and strategies of heaven. As we come together authentically, there will be healing for our relational wounds so that we can connect and participate in what the Lord is doing in the future. Holy Spirit will help us overcome the fear, rejection, independence, and pride that hinders our proper connection. Not only are we to turn up and find our place amongst prophetic companies, but we must also be willing to allow the Lord to integrate us properly in the church, alongside brothers and sisters, as members of the family. Some need to be willing to shift out of their comfort zone and current environment to larger spaces where they can function in multi-talented, diversely gifted, mutually honouring teams. There needs to be a willingness among prophetic people to get over the rejections of the past and learn to adapt, modify our expression, and learn to translate our revelation to better connect and relate with others. There’s an invitation to take our place at the table that the Lord has prepared in the presence of our enemies, to operate together as prophetic companies and as apostolic teams in the authority of God’s family, His governing body on earth, partnering together with heaven.

God is breaking ministry moulds to liberate leaders from limiting models, methods and manifestations of ministry and church organisation. He loves His leaders and is releasing a reformation zeal in many of them that will transform the church. God is releasing clarity and fresh understanding about ‘heaven on earth’ in and through the church that will transform many corporate expressions and structures. He is melting the gap between the stage and the crowd and gatherings are going to be characterised by both awe of God and radical freedom as Holy Spirit orchestrates worship that also melts the gap between heaven and earth. In this atmosphere many healings and miracles will spontaneously occur as Jesus walks through the room.

New prayer movements and new healing and transformation ministries will break out like underground streams surfacing and flowing all throughout the nation in little towns, rural areas and big cities alike. They will be led by the Spirit and manifested through teams of people who simply turn up and say “Yes” to God. Many will be healed from the effects of trauma – debilitating automatic survival responses – preventing healthy participation in the church community. God is bringing His church together as family, friends and community in a new way. This new relationship dynamic is not just a nice bonus, but a central quality that will be evident amongst the church in the coming days. For this, and through this, God will heal us and set us free.

The Lord is breaking moulds that have resulted from past wounds and trauma. He is healing deep, and even generational, wounds, delivering people from entrenched perspectives, patterns and responses that have made it difficult, seemingly impossible, for them to draw near to God and experience true new creation life, identity, and purpose. There will be dreams in the night and divine encounters that wrap people up in a supernatural transformational, love drenched, mould smashing, healing and deliverance anointing. Wrapped in the safety of God’s love, locked doors will open in people’s hearts and minds giving access to the healing touch of God and the truth that sets us free.

The Shaking is breaking the bottle to release the perfume

What has seemed like disaster for many believers is actually releasing the sweet fragrance of deliverance. Misshapen mental, emotional, demonic, generational “bottles” are being shattered in the shaking to release the true identities and expressions of sons and daughters.

God is liberating many from “tribal” moulds, freeing us from the fear and suspicion of “the other”. He is challenging beliefs and assumptions that have become set hard in our minds and hearts but resist God and give access to the enemy, that justify our standing apart, and in opposition to, other individuals, groups, tribes, ethnicities, church movements, theological persuasions or giftings and expressions. Some are so entrenched that they resist God, but the Spirit is shining light on them and dismantling them with His grace-filled wisdom and revelation truth. The kindness of God is leading us through repentance, giving grace and faith to seek understanding, reconciliation and redemptive action that brings people and groups together whole.
