PROPHETIC WORDS

A MOVE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

by Kim Waihape

April 2021

There is a move of Righteousness coming to New Zealand that will shake this nation.

I heard the Lord say, “There is going to be a move of Righteousness in New Zealand. My Spirit will move across this land. I have heard your cry. Position yourselves, and let the Wells that have run dry begin to fill again. Righteousness will once more walk this land as My people arise and take a stand for righteousness.”

As I processed this through, I felt that this move of righteousness is going to come through a spirit of repentance that is going to fall on the Church in the form of a growing conviction from Holy Spirit of the need to repent. This will grow in the hearts of His people, driving those who would submit to Him to their knees before Him. As we repent of the times where we have sought after our own gain, our own ambitions, and established our own idols, it will bring change, and we will begin to live Matthew 6:33: “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

As His people begin to walk in His righteousness, a spiritual earthquake will take place. Strongholds of darkness across New Zealand will begin shake loose, break down and come apart.

A reservoir of His water will stream into the lives of those walking in His righteousness. His people will become “like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither.” (Psa 1:3). They will be fed by a continuous stream of water that will come from the throne of God into their lives. “Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb.” (Rev 22:1).

This is how His river is going to begin to flow through New Zealand. It will begin in the lives of those who are willing to walk in His righteousness, no matter the cost.  “But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!” (Amos 5:24)

Just as Stephen’s death in the book of Acts was the catalyst for persecution of the Church to begin, so walking in His righteousness, the proclamation of His Word, His miracles, His signs, and His wonders will be a catalyst into persecution here in New Zealand. “On that day a great persecution broke out against the church…” (Acts 8:1).

Jesus’ words in Matthew 5: 11-12 and John 15:18-19 were then highlighted to me. “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.  Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.  If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.”

As righteousness takes hold in His people a Glory cloud will descend on this land. The Glory cloud of His presence will come as His people repent and rise up to walk in His Righteousness. He will come. He will come. “For I,’ says the Lord, “will be a wall of fire around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.” (Zechariah 2:5 NKJV)

I felt the Holy Spirit also include this warning to God’s people, “Be aware and keep your wits about you.” Just as in the parable of the wheat and the tares in Matthew 13, an enemy sowed tares in a field of wheat, so self-righteousness will be sown close together with true righteousness. There will be a rise of self-righteousness in this land, a righteousness of self, born in the heart of man, fuelled by a religious spirit, that will seek to smother that which is of God. The false will try to get woven in with the new.

“The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’ “‘An enemy did this,’ he replied. The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’  “No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest.” (Matt 13:24-30)
